33rd European Film Awards

10/12/2020

Since 1988, each year the European Film Academy has held the European Film Awards to recognise excellence in European cinematic achievements. The awards are given in 19 categories, the most important of which is the Best Film.

This year’s edition of the awards will be broadcast and streamed from the European Film Academy’s seat in Berlin. Originally scheduled to be presented in the Icelandic capital Reykjavík, the ceremony will be held virtually because of the current health crisis.
