Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is celebrated every year on December 10 — on this day in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. The UDHR is a milestone document, which proclaims the inalienable rights that every human being is entitled to without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.
