In recent years, the world has experienced various migration fluxes, mostly from third world and developing countries to wealthier and safer states. The reasons for this phenomenon are diverse – war, hunger, political or religious persecution for instance, but the goal always remains the same: the search of a better, more peaceful life elsewhere. Nowadays, migration is one of the main topics in the policy debate, discussed in all major international organisations, such as the United Nations:
